La pandemìa ha svelato fragilità, solitudini soprattutto quelle dei giovani disorientati, impauriti e bloccati nei loro ambienti, li ha costretti a rivivere spazi che mai avrebbero pensato essere vitali, hanno scoperto luoghi in cui poter riassaporare il gusto della libertà, il potersi incontrare senza bardatura alcuna, in cui poter sentire nuovamente le vibrazioni passare dall'uno all'altro seppur distanti, in cui poter respirare i propri sogni. Con il passare dei mesi ci siamo resi conto che le relazioni sociali sono un elemento essenziale della nostra vita, non sostituibile con i mezzi di comunicazione digitale. Con l'allentamento delle misure restrittive anti-covid19, con le zone delle varie regioni che cominciavano a decolorarsi, arrivando al bianco, i giovani hanno finalmente potuto riassaporare l'emozione del contatto, di tornare nei loro luoghi di incontro, i gesti più scontati come un selfie, son divenuti unici, timidamente, a mascherina abbassata o quasi, hanno cercato in un bacio, il respiro liberatorio da un anno di soffocante asfissìa, hanno guardato l'orizzonte in cerca di risposte seduti su quei muretti che conoscono le loro ansie e speranze, si sono arrampicati solo dove loro sanno, hanno aspettato un viaggio per avere ali e andare lontano da ogni pensiero, hanno voluto gridare al mondo la loro esistenza oltre la chiusura, oltre e nonostante tutto. Qui e ora come se non ci fosse più tempo; qui e ora, giovani fuori mentre il tempo scorre inesorabile.

The pandemic revealed fragilities, especially the loneliness of young people—disoriented, frightened, and trapped in their environments. It forced them to revisit spaces they never thought could be vital, and they discovered places where they could once again taste the flavor of freedom, where they could meet without any barriers, where they could feel the vibrations pass from one to another despite the distance, where they could breathe in their dreams. As the months went by, we realized that social relationships are an essential part of our lives, irreplaceable by digital communication tools. With the easing of anti-COVID-19 restrictions, as the regions began to shift from red to white zones, young people were finally able to savor once more the thrill of contact, of returning to their meeting places. Even the most ordinary gestures, like taking a selfie, became unique. Timidly, with masks lowered or almost off, they sought in a kiss the liberating breath from a year of suffocating asphyxiation. They looked at the horizon in search of answers, sitting on the walls that know their anxieties and hopes, climbing only where they know, waiting for a trip to gain wings and go far away from any thought. They wanted to shout to the world their existence beyond the lockdown, beyond and despite everything. Here and now, as if there were no time left; here and now, young people outside as time passes relentlessly.
